The app offers a 6-minute VMA test (after a guided warm-up) to personalize your training paces.

Yes. The plans start progressively.
No special equipment is needed.
You can set the duration of your sessions — if you’re sedentary, start with 2 × 20 minutes per week.
After one month, switch to a “Get Back in Shape” plan and let ForMyFit automatically adjust the duration and training load.

It measures your maximum aerobic speed to automatically calibrate your training paces and intensities, creating a plan 100% tailored to your current fitness level.
It also provides a Fitness Score (1–100) that compares your VMA to others of the same age and gender.

No. A smartphone is enough.
A heart rate sensor (ideally an optical armband) improves accuracy, especially for structured or indoor workouts.

Indoors, without GPS, FITs are mainly calculated based on duration.
To ensure accurate tracking (proof of sufficient effort), connect a heart rate monitor and maintain an average heart rate above 100 bpm during the session.
This prevents incorrect effort attribution.
